Shortly after 1700 station 50 and 10 were dispatched to a structure fire in the 24000 block of Sugar Hill Rd. Carrollton 109 (Parsons) was first arriving and took command marking off with heavy smoke and fire showing from a 2 story structure. Station 50 responded Engine 50, 51, Rescue 50, and Ladder 50 on dispatch. Engine 10 was first arriving unit and stretched on the structure but were met with access issues. Engine 51 and 50 provided water supply to Engine 10. Crews from station 10 and 50 made entry into the structure but were quickly evacuated due to a collapse of the second floor and roof. With all operations switched to defensive, crews brought the fire under control at approximently 1800. Crews returned to service approximately 5 hrs after dispatch.
