On February 18, 2018 Smithfield, Carrollton, and Chuckatuck members held a training burn with an acquired structure on Courthouse Highway . Personnel trained on Ventilation techniques, Search & Rescue, Pump Operations, and Rural Water Supply. After the completion of this training Smithfield had three of our members complete their final requirements to become Operators. We would like to say congratulations and job well done to Lieutenant Zach Lackey, Firefighter Connor Smith and Firefighter Ryan Smith. We also would like to say thank you to John Glover who made this hands-on training possible for providing the acquired structure for our departments.
