Truck 50 spent part of Friday morning on Wharf Hill training on setting up and operating off of inclined surfaces. This is a low frequency skillset that members train to periodically as there are a few areas within Station 50’s response area that provide this kind of challenge during incidents. Wharf Hill provides ample opportunity to hone this skillset to keep Truck chauffeurs proficient.

Station 50 personnel also took this opportunity to provide assistance to the public by helping set up the rope and pulley system used for the annual New Years celebratory Pig Drop.
